Do both partners need to download the app?

Yes, both partners create accounts and connect using a simple invite code. The app works best when both contribute to the weekly check-in. You can still use it for personal prayer and reflection if your partner hasn't joined yet.

What happens during the Weekly Council?

It's a guided 5-step flow: start with gratitude, rate five areas of your relationship (Connection, Faith, Emotional, Finance, Intimacy), add notes, flag things you want to discuss, and make commitments for the coming week. Most couples finish in about ten minutes.

Your relationship data is encrypted and protected with row-level security. We don't sell data. We don't show ads. You can delete your account and all data at any time.

Is Covenant available on iPhone?

Covenant is on Google Play for Android right now. iOS support through the Apple App Store is coming soon.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Covenant mobile application (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Covenant is a faith-based relationship app for couples. It provides weekly check-ins, drift detection, a shared prayer vault, goal tracking, calendar sync, and daily scripture. The App is designed to support healthy communication between partners and is not a substitute for professional counseling.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By using Covenant, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age.

4. Account Registration

You may create an account using your email address, Google account, or Apple account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Share content that is abusive, threatening, or harassing
Attempt to access another user's account without permission
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Use automated systems or bots to access the App
Misrepresent your identity or relationship status

6. Partner Connection

Covenant allows you to connect with a partner using an invite code. By connecting with a partner, you agree to share certain relationship data (check-in responses, prayer entries, goals) with that person. You may disconnect from a partner at any time.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create within the App, including prayers, check-in notes, and goals. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, and branding, is the property of Covenant App. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our written permission.

9. Pricing

Covenant is currently free to download and use. All core features are available at no cost. We reserve the right to introduce paid features in the future, which will always be optional and clearly communicated.

10. Disclaimer

Covenant is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free. The App is not a substitute for professional counseling, therapy, or pastoral care. If you are experiencing serious relationship difficulties, please seek help from a qualified professional.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Covenant App shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

12. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. Upon deletion, all your personal data will be permanently removed from our servers. We may also terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
